Want to practice classroom words w/new #ELLs? Past self: pre-packaged clip art picture boards. Now: have students take pictures of items they want English words for. Result: increase in #studentagency and images reflect reality. (I help w/crops)

Inspired by @AboveAllBeKind, I carry this through to my personal life, too, and use it so much with students now that when any of us hear it, we relax. We can do hard things...then learn from them.
