Whitstable lad, die hard Gillingham F C, Kent Cricket and Portland Trail Blazers fan. All about sport to me so if that's not your thing you may get bored.
A Croatian supporter asked if we could swap jerseys because he loved my Ghana 🇬🇭 shirt. Of course I said yes 🇬🇭🤝🇭🇷
A special World Cup moment, exchanging jerseys from the stands. Football truly brings people together. ❤️
An England fan has sacrificed the £10,000 he saved for a house deposit to spend it on taking his grandad on a dream World Cup trip. ❤️
🗣️ The 21 year old said: "I can always make money back, I'm at the age where I can afford to miss out on a house for two or three years. But I won’t ever get to go to the World Cup with my grandad again."
A spine tingling rendition of Flower of Scotland being belted out by The Tartan Army, before their first World Cup Finals game in 28 years.
A moment that many have waited a lifetime for. 🥹🏴❤️

This was one of the nicest things I’ve ever seen in a game of football, the guard of honour from the Aston Villa players mid game for Bernardo and John Stones was wonderful, thank you, pure class from the Villa players @ManCity
Out of the mouths of babes....
This is England... 🏴
"I'm not far right, I'm not racist, I just want to walk to school safely." She is more grown up than the middle class left.
Today, for me at least, isn’t really about the performance or result now.
Of course I want us to win, and I’ll back the boys for 90 minutes, but if we fail to do so I won’t be booing or shouting.
I think the time for that has been & gone & doing it again today won’t change anything moving forward given we know the retained list is confirmed.
The owners, the management, the coaches, the players & (perhaps most importantly) us fans know it’s been nowhere near good enough & we’ve been promised sweeping changes.
So in an odd way I’m looking forward to this final game, I’ll (try to) enjoy it for what it is & then I can wave goodbye to this season & likely to plenty of players too.
I’ll acknowledge their efforts & wish them well, and then hopefully all of us can concentrate on recognising those who really deserve to be recognised.
🔹Sam Vokes, one of the best of his generation, is calling it a day & deserves a proper send off. Maybe not for his time with us, but for a stellar career.
🔹Another Sam, Gale, was nominated for Young Player of the Season in the whole of League 2 and we are lucky to have such a promising centre back on our books.
🔹Bradley Dack, someone we never thought we’d see in the blue of Gills again, has played 40 times and for me should be our Player of the Season.
🔹And finally, the Cat & Englands No.1. After two spells spanning a decade or more, over 130 appearances & 40 clean sheets we will bid farewell to one our best keepers of recent times. Not only a top stopper, but also the consummate professional & one of the nicest blokes in the game you could wish to meet.
