@inefficientmrkt Let me add some food for thought: if a stock makes new highs, it’s essentially telling you one thing, UPTREND. Now if it stuffs and it turns out it was a failed breakout and a downtrend is about to ensue, shouldn’t that mean we get some lower highs that you could short?
