Congratulations to the Longford hurlers on winning the Lory Meagher, first since 2014. Delighted for them. So many of the players have faced heartache over the years. Not a bad year - promotion & Lory Meagher champs.

@blowincat For a hurling stronghold, itโs a poor reflection that we donโt have a Center of Excellence where our players can train and develop and both players and athletes. This is something that should have been prioritised a long time ago and is a real lack of leadership by County Board
@blowincat Tactically we have fallen behind many of our rivals. The underage talent between 2012 - 2018 probably dried up. However our Minor & U20 teams have been in All Ireland Finalโs recently so there are players on the way up. Itโs about ensuring that these players get through to Senior
