Dude how the Jazz, trade away their entire team, for a haul of draft picks over the last 5 years, yet what do we have to show for it? Is there a player now 5 years later and what like 15 picks later, that we see as a foundational piece? Now they just drafted a kid who openly said he doesn’t want to be here. Look at what happened with Mitchell and he never even said he didn’t want to be here openly. Like there is zero hope in the future of the franchise imo. I’ve been to probably 1000 jazz games throughout my life and the last 5 years have been the least exciting and promising stretch in 30 years. Even the post Stockton/Malone era, we had Kirilenko and players like Memo and got Boozer until we drafted Deron. Then post Deron/Boozer era we had Gobert and Hayward, and Favors and Burks. Like even when they have been “in between” definitive eras they have had young/fun solid core group of players with either potential or value to build towards the next era. I don’t feel that way at all these days. Love Lauri, but he isn’t the next era, they have some “potential” type guys but honestly 4-5 years after blowing up the Donovan/Gobert era do we look at the roster and feel like we have made the best out of those two huge deals?
Wait a minute.... This actually looks really good! At least in the trailer: Dialogue seems grounded but filled with emotion (not cringy wannabe humor that we see so often in modern "superhero" movies), Acting looks super solid, sticking to the good vs evil instead of trying to always justify the evil or make the good seem evil, music feels like superman, doesnt seem to be pushing modern sociopolitical narratives and/or changing Superman for the mythological "modern audience". If this trailer is a true indicator for the movie, hats off to James Gunn
This might be the first movie I go to see in theaters in years, especially a superhero movie. Last one I saw was Avengers: Endgame....
#DiabloIV Season 8 is around the corner and our @maxrollgg team is hard at work updating all our guides once again! Here's the Endgame/Pit Tier List we made yesterday (linked below). Expect to the build updates to roll in throughout today/tomorrow!
I think in a way it helps a lot of people coming back to the game to get familiarized with the flow of the game again. But I think that the mode would be more engaging to have more players and less bots. Or player and bot combined teams, you usually play a whole match killing idiot bots to running into a four stack of real players and the change of pace isnt really helpful to improve.
TLDR from the PoE 2 patch notes: The game is slower, everything is worse, all classes are weaker and all enemies are stronger. So essentially, intentionally making the game less fun and appealing to a much more narrow niche group of players. Lost about 90% of my excitement for the update to be honest…
@elonmusk It would be good if for the Explore page, we had an option inside of the different curated topics to have them aggregated by popularity/engagement instead of who you most often interact with and engage with
This would give people a more balanced PoV and avoid echo chambers
The movement and animations just look so clunky and unfinished. I don’t understand how in 3 years they take so many steps backwards from Valhalla. I know some people didn’t like Valhalla but I really enjoyed it and the animations and combat looked so much better than this.
Wake up, Ubisoft “defender,” and hear our voice! What kind of Assassin’s Creed game destroys an actual religious site? Japanese culture is consumed but receives no respect. Here is a perfect example.
