Honestly couldn't have said it better myself. I keep seeing people talking about how we should be criticizing Yzerman. The thing is, we have.. and nothing is going to change there because he's got a longer leash than any other GM in the league. We know what we have in a GM, but I expected better from Larkin.

Larkin kicked us while we were already down on his way out.

@RedWingDiehards He's done a terrible job, i'm not gonna ignore that... BUT I feel like anyone else would have already given Larkin away for nothing just to get him out.
I respect that he won't be bullied into a decision, and I believe he will do what's best for the team overall

I think the reaction will calm down with time and eventually become happiness for him.
But right now, emotions are running high. This fanbase has endured 10+ years of losing, false starts, and disappointment, and now the captain they've rallied behind wants to leave. I don't think people are turning on Larkin as much as they're processing another gut punch.
