And he impeaded Piastri, team fault or not, piastri’s lap was ruined as a result. The penalty exists to try and get drivers to not doddle on the line.

@dr_obbs The technical and strategic part of F1 is actually one of my favorites parts of the sport. Racing is awesome, but seeing teams overcome insane challenges is a testament to what can be done. F1 is the still the pinnacle of many things (maybe not racing lol)

@f1_naija But the engine is why half the OEMs get involved. the development and marketing of that is the win. Building a racecar and wings and composites is not what the likes of Audi, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Ferrari, and so one signed up for.

@thecoffeeviolin The company has removed the racers and heart that allowed then to build an F1 team. Its now just out of touch shareholders wondering why the person they see as a cash cow and a massive payroll is unhappy. They cant comprehend that a drivers wants to win its not about money.

@dr_obbs I think RB has been struggling all season with the MGU-K causing more rear locking than they want. Part of the issue with downshifts too, its not a bad sync in the gearbox its a sudden jump in engine braking (regen fro the MGU-K) I think its caused a really difficult balance.

@robertofunoat I don't think its the rear wing, video suggests the wings were closed and functioning. But, we don't have the load data. I actually think it might be related to a poor MGU-K that can cause excessive engine braking and rear locking.
