A couple of things I realized people don’t know about keeping healthy-
1)importance of hydration with electrolytes
2) the value of decent sleep
3) the need for movement and fresh air when battling illness
4) sleep posture when dealing with respiratory illness.

I grew up in a medical family so these things were second nature. Hoping they are taught broadly so People can care better for themselves. ❤️

If you ever get the chance to attend a Catholic retreat, I highly recommend you attend a Ignatian retreat. One of the things you will learn about is discernment of the spirits. A huge thing I learned is that the devil is often quiet when you are straying from Gods will. But when you are doing what He wills and needs to be done, the devil will be loud and bothersome. He will try everything in life to cause you to stop. So take it as a good sign. Pray, stick close to the Mass and Sacraments and push forward. Will be praying for you sir.

I’m going to say this as clearly as I can. As a Registered Nurse of almost 20 years, it has never once crossed my mind to inflict harm or neglect treatment of a patient bc they differed in politics, religion, ideals…literally anything. The fact that there are licensed individuals who swore to care for their fellow mankind now encouraging abuse, injury or neglect to a human being is absolutely shocking and vile. You swore to care for your fellow man, not to judge them. We see people at their lowest most vulnerable points and we often are who they lean on for everything in these moments. To think that someone in the profession of medicine would instead hurt or kill someone is soul shattering. I am ashamed of anyone in my profession even considering such an idea. Reevaluate who you are and what career path you have chosen if hate dictates your care. God help us.

@vrody_jerome_ Been there. It’s beautiful inside. The side altars all around the church are amazing as well. But the most beautiful part? The traditional Latin mass that happens there every day.

It’s a season of change. We are going to see it nationwide, worldwide, and in our own lives. Just remember. Not everything has to change. You can still enjoy your family time. You can still be friendly to the neighbor and give a kind word to a stranger. Not everything has to be go go go sometimes it can be stop and take in. Nature still surrounds us. The sun still shines. God still is in control. ❤️
