Armed men attacked a construction camp in Palri, Nana Sahib Ziarat, Duki, on 26 September. A security guard was killed, two people were injured, and 12 workers were abducted.
👉 Guard Muhtaj-ur-Rehman (KP) was killed. Guard Imran Wazir and passerby Latif Tareen were wounded. Attackers checked IDs, took 12 labourers — 10 from Punjab, two Pashtun — and burned machinery. Some reports say 18 were taken. Police and FC are searching.
👉 These were not combatants. They were low-income labourers, mostly Punjabis, working to feed their families. The target is workers and Balochistan’s economy, not the province’s protection.
👉 Claims of a masked hostage video and an Afghanistan hideout are still unverified.

Security forces decisively repelled a terrorist attack on a Mashkel checkpost, killing six terrorists and stopping an attempt to overrun a critical post.
The failed assault shows desperation to break the border-control architecture that is shrinking their space. For years this remote belt fed smuggling and illicit networks — stronger security is now dismantling that ecosystem.
Hitting checkposts is not strength. It is an attempt to reopen a corridor the state is closing. The harder they push, the tighter that barrier gets.
