Vickrum Digwa is living in terror inside Britain’s most notorious prison after refusing to go on the wing where Ian Huntley was beaten to death

The 23 year old who stabbed teenager Henry Nowak to death in Southampton is now locked in segregation at HMP Frankland known as Monster Mansion spending 23 hours a day alone in his cell

Digwa told guards he would not go on to A wing after learning that was where Huntley was murdered with a metal bar earlier this year and is now too scared to mix with other inmates

He only gets one hour of exercise a day and even then he is kept separated from the other three prisoners in a divided yard while surviving on grim prison food with just a wind up radio for entertainment

The Sikh murderer has also lost his TV and other privileges and is being held under a strict regime that sources say could drive him mad as he paces his cell in fear

Digwa who lied to police claiming he was the victim of a racist attack as Henry lay dying is now the one living in constant fear of being attacked or killed inside one of Britain’s toughest jails
