My friend @retheauditors asked me what I thought about inflation & price increases in consumer goods. No surprise, there is a link to executive compensation. Inspired by Happy Gilmore, it is worth asking, "Is the price really right?"

If you were wondering why everyone is bulled up on the miracle of semaglutide drugs, just take a walk through the cereal aisle and see what’s for breakfast …12g of sugar in each cup.

Just pointing out that although $PEP does not break out Frito-Lay North American vols in its press release or prepared remarks. In the the 10-Q it shows 0.5% volume declines. Also note how the magic is from price as vols are ⬇️.
Just noting the latest on Vernon Hill's UK special. He left in 2019 but what was left did not age well. It is not bullish to see sellside analyst comments like “Depositor flight is a real risk”

Wonder why Michael Lewis does not think #SBF is a fraud? Think video rights. Would he have the same SBF access if it was not flattering?
@EpsilonTheory@erinarvedlund
Book rights were worth "mid-seven digits" according to 👇

If Michael Lewis spent 6 months 'embedded' with SBF and didn't realize the guy was a fraud, then I have no interest in his book.

Something to keep an eye to see if it creeps upward to larger businesses and gets noticed in the credit markets and the wider economy. @retheauditors @herbgreenberg https://t.co/ICeoc6Uip7
Not mentioned in this article is how private equity firms staff many emergency rooms often with the aim to cut costs.
