@kenhill741@ahernandez85a@thechosenberg A couple things with that, one that House is more than tripled in value, and wages have nowhere near that type of increase, not even close. Two, I would put 1700 on the very extremely generous side, and even with it at 1700, that is still upwards of 50% of somebody’s salary.

@WhySoSeriousXXC@ahernandez85a@thechosenberg They capitalized on the greatest generations generosity, but never passed it on. As their earnings went up, they kept their workers on the same wage spreading propaganda such as you should be thankful to be working.
@ahernandez85a@thechosenberg You bought that house, for roughly a quarter of what it’s worth now. It probably took about 25% of your income to make the monthly payment. Versus now it takes about 60 to 70% of an income to make the payment on the same house that’s significantly older.
