IN HONOUR OF SIS 10 FALLEN HEROES

Yesterday, ten brave officers of the Nigeria Police Special Intelligence Squad (SIS) made the ultimate sacrifice while defending a village in Kebbi State from an advancing force of more than 200 terrorists.

They knew they were heavily outnumbered, yet they refused to retreat. They stood between the attackers and the innocent civilians they had sworn to protect. With extraordinary courage and selflessness, they fought to the very end, giving their lives so that others might live.

Ten officers went into battle and did not return home to their families. Behind each uniform was a father, son, husband, brother, or loved one whose life was cut tragically short in the line of duty.

Their sacrifice is a painful reminder of the courage demanded of those who stand on the frontlines to protect our communities. May their families find strength in knowing that their loved ones gave everything in service to their nation.

May their souls rest in eternal peace. Their courage will not be forgotten.

I recently posted a picture from my visit to the office of the National Security Adviser. The reaction, both public and private, has been quite intense. Some people have read deep meaning into it, others have drawn their own conclusions, and a few have reached out with questions, assumptions, and unsolicited advice; and some seeking details they can never get not even with guns and daggers pointed to my neck or head.

Looking back, perhaps it was not the wisest decision. Yet I am glad I did. I got to see both sides of the reaction clearly, and in that sense the social experiment was successful. For this, I say, Bravo Moh!

I enjoy discussing politics. I follow governance closely and I am not shy about expressing my views on national issues, regardless of whose ox is gored. What I do not enjoy, however, is being publicly associated with politicians or high-ranking public figures aimlessly and purposelessly. This is not because I visit such offices in secret or try to hide my movements. It is simply a matter of principle. I hold my principles and my purpose very tightly. Neither praise nor vilification has the power to pull me away from them.

I have said this repeatedly, and I will say it again: I do not desire political appointments, and I have no ambition to contest elections into any office in this country. If that ever changes, it will only be by the will and destiny of Allah. What I will never do is turn down opportunities that will make my impacts towards building a nation I long to see succeed, if not for anything but to put shame to its enemies and haters.

For now, my focus remains clear and undivided. I am building a legacy in my chosen field, one that my children and the generations after them will look at with pride. A legacy born of labour, sacrifice, and the quiet determination to crawl so that those who come after me can walk and eventually fly.

I am not at anyone’s mercy. I am content with the little I earn through honest work. What I truly crave is the realisation of the destiny Allah has written for me.

Everything else is secondary. What I know for sure is: I am a brand and that’s on period!

I infere that the celebration here reflects both the immediate value of the NELFUND upkeep allowance (???), and the depth of financial pressure facing many students and families.

It is a welcome intervention, but the larger goal must remain an economy in which basic student support brings stability, not extraordinary relief. This remains a WIP.

Kudos to govt and stakeholders working on this beyond a short term relief into a sustainable system that encourages students in courses critical to national development. 🇳🇬

Then I ask, they said the president is coming.

Immediately he was landing I called someone to man my gun and jumped down, and it wasn't real to me, like seeing the CinC in person?

Funny enough in few weeks he was in Maiduguri again this time I was shit and already in 7 Div hospital... Man came to pay us condolence visit.

The urge to continue fighting manned in confidence came in immediately. And low and behold they ask a BN to remain and we proceed with Abu-Ali to go and recapture Kangarwa and then Mallam-Fatori before coming back to Maiduguri for other operations.

And before leaving the COAS pronounced everybody d*and or alive who took part in that operation be giving one step ahead (Special Promotion)

Heaven was almost falling, God almost showed his true self in human form that day.

The Joy, the drama, the anguish and everything.

Rest in peace 🕊️ to those we lost during that operation. Some really painful lost right there mehn 💔

One of the best illustrations to explain inflation I read in recent time was:

Picture a car moving at a speed of 100km/h, the driver then decides to slow down to 45km/h.

The car is still moving forward, but at a different speed, that is what inflation numbers are about.

So when you see inflation rates dropping, and you wonder why prices are still high, the above illustration should explain it for you.

So next time you see someone that says “price of commodity XYZ was 1,000 in 2020, today it’s 4,000 and you’re claiming inflation prices are dropping or reducing.”

Well now you should understand better.
