Lately, I've found myself thinking less about where life is taking me and more about what it's trying to teach me.

Life has taught me that people don't always leave because they stop loving you; sometimes they leave because they stop understanding you. And strangely, I've learned not to resent that. Not everyone is meant to understand every chapter of your story.

The older I grow, the less I believe in perfect endings. I believe in quiet resilience, in choosing kindness after heartbreak, and in finding meaning where certainty no longer exists. Every setback has left me with a lesson, and every disappointment has quietly reshaped the person I'm becoming.

As T.S. Eliot wrote:
"We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time."

To me, that means the greatest journey isn't across the world, it's within ourselves.

Perhaps life isn't about becoming someone new. Perhaps it's about remembering who we were before the world told us who to be.

And if I've learned anything so far, it's this: peace begins the moment I stop trying to become someone else's idea of enough and start accepting the person I've been growing into all along.
