Anna Mochalova, 32, was arrested and charged with assault as a hate crime after allegedly stalking and stabbing a rabbi in the back with a needle in Midtown, then stabbing another Jewish man in the arm minutes later.

Prosecutors say she asked a third man if he was Jewish. When he said he was Muslim, she apologized and walked away.

This is New York City in 2026. Jewish men targeted on the street.

It is hard to believe this is real. A housing authority in the UK telling residents to make way for asylum seekers. Advising them to keep their daughters and their pets locked up inside! For anyone curious about what it actually looked like to kill a generation of functioning cars, here’s an actual video from 2009 and brief explanation:

The dealer first replaces the oil with sodium silicate solution. It’s a clear-ish liquid that crystallizes under extreme heat. As the engine warms up the solution begins to form small abrasive crystals in the oil system that shred the bearing and score the cylinder walls.

Within seconds of starting the car you can see smoke billowing from the exhaust, this is the crystals scratching the cylinder walls and leaving small grooves for oil and solution to leak past into the combustion chamber and ignite/evaporate, producing the white smoke.

Pretty soon the entire crankcase is full of crystals and freshly shredded metal flakes, the engine seizes. It took about 40 seconds in this video. Some engines reportedly lasted up to 7 minutes, but all were destroyed. That strikes me as sort of sad in a way, like watching a great warrior slowly lose a heroic last stand.

Now, this is the part that gets insanely wasteful. These cars were sent to federally approved recycling facilities where they had 180 days to sell the non-engine parts before they were required to prove that they had shred the entire thing into scrap steel.

But, in talking to a guy who ran one such facility at the time, he typically just sent them straight to the crusher. The timeframes allotted weren’t long enough to dismantle all of the cars, and even if you could, the marginal prices of the parts was greatly diminished. You cannot sell 1000 transmissions when only 50 went bad that year, they became worthless.

So just like that, in order to increase prosperity and save the environment, 677,000 entire running cars and trucks were turned directly into rebar worth a few cents per pound.

The entire Obama administration was like a chapter out of atlas shrugged.

Unreal. Sixth grade students at a Kansas public school were told they could not name Charlie Kirk as a role model for an assignment.

The assignment was called “Find Your Voice,” in which the students were asked to identify their role models.

“When a student identified Charlie Kirk as a role model, [the guidance counselor] got very uncomfortable and refused to allow this name to be written on the board, yelling that he was ‘not a hero,’ and that he was not a role model."

Another kid said President Trump, and this was also denied.
Yet another student said Jesus, and once again this was denied.

A lawsuit has been filed which claims other "controversial" role models were allowed, just not conservative or Christian ones.

Get your kids out of public school, folks.

Lauren McCluskey did everything she was told to do. She still died.

She was a 21-year-old University of Utah track athlete and honors student. In October 2018 she briefly dated Melvin Shawn Rowland. When she discovered he had lied about his age and identity and was a registered sex offender on parole, she ended it.

The harassment continued. He threatened to release intimate photos unless she paid him. She reported the extortion and harassment to campus police multiple times, handed over messages and the photos as evidence, and asked for help.

Days before she was killed, an officer assigned to her case, Miguel Deras, displayed those private photographs to at least three male coworkers.

An independent Utah Department of Public Safety investigation later found the displays were not for legitimate investigative purposes.

Officers made unprofessional comments; one account described Deras saying he could look at the images whenever he wanted. The university only learned of the misconduct after media reporting, well after her death.

On the evening of October 22, 2018, Lauren was walking back toward her dorm while on the phone with her mother. Her mother heard her scream.

Rowland confronted her in a campus parking lot, forced her into a vehicle, and shot her multiple times. Officers located her after her father called, but she was already dead.

Rowland later died by suicide as police closed in.
Subsequent reviews documented serious failures in how university police handled her reports—delays, failure to properly check his status as a parolee and sex offender, and an overall minimization of the threat.

In 2020 the University of Utah settled with her family for $13.5 million ($10.5 million to the parents and $3 million to the Lauren McCluskey Foundation). The university publicly acknowledged that it had failed her and that her death was preventable.

Her family has continued advocacy through the foundation and Lauren’s Promise, an effort focused on campus safety and supporting victims. Eight years later she would be 29.

Instead, her parents and those who knew her are left marking the life she never got to finish.

When someone repeatedly reports stalking, harassment, and extortion and provides evidence, should law enforcement be required to take stronger protective steps before the situation escalates?

Lauren followed the advice victims are routinely given. She reported it. She supplied proof. She asked for help. It was not enough. 💔

Imagine you are a 7 year old little girl, waiting for your mum at a hostel in Acton, west London.

A man offers you an apple.

You say no five times.

He pulls you into his room and sexually assaults you. You manage to run away and tell your mum what happened immediately.

Afsar Safi entered the UK by small boat in 2021. He claimed that he was associated with the Taliban since he was a child himself. His application for asylum had been refused but he was appealing this when the assault took place.

His reason for assaulting a 7 year old was that it was culturally normal to kiss children where he was from.

He initially received 2.5 years for kidnap and sexual assault.

That is an appalling sentence.

On Friday, the Court of Appeal found it to be far too lenient and increased it….to 4 years.

He is likely to serve just half of that in prison and almost certainly will not be deported for “human rights” reasons.
