West Mids Monkspath #nocmig 22 - 23 Sept: first migratory Song Thrush of autumn passage: first Barn Owl this year a courtship screech, two passages of Common Scoter at 21:44 1/1 call plus multiple wingbeats, 23:35 2/21 calls.

Warks Moths: New moth for my Monkspath garden 10/5/24 confirmed by disection 35.045 Bryotropha basaltinella: not new for SP15 but the first since 1895!
Earlswood All Dayer #westmidsalldayer recorded 66 species including feral pigeon. We did not record any waders. Birds of the day were an adult and juvenile Sandwich Tern and a fly over Tree Pipit. My thanks to all those that participated.

Worcs: Wyre Hawkbatch calls of two Wood Warblers sound recorded. They seem to have finished singing, least there were non singing yesterday morning, albeit a bit of clipped song can be heard on this recording. Also 3+ Spotted Flycatchers present.
