Eirik has been hard at work improving spells and projectiles. As previously mentioned, players can create their own weapons and magical spells. Here he combined fireballs with extra explosive power and the ability to follow the cursor.

Shields, like all other items, weapons & armor, can be modified. You can apply various artifacts to them that greatly enhance their abilities. Like lighting blocked enemies on fire, or stunning them, or storing blocked damage to be released as an explosion. Just to name a few
Past month has gone to multiplayer/performance. Which is rather dull, under-the-hood type of development, so instead here's a look at the first 4 tiers of shields. Unique Melee items that come in 3 types: Blocking, Bashing & Parrying.

Lastly Parrying Shields are also activated items, except they negate all damage and deal some of it back to the attacker. Their timing is tight and requires skill to use effectively, but they have no movement penalties and allow you to use your other hand.
Bashing Shields are activated items. They knockback enemies and deal some damage. They'll also negate a portion of incoming damage the second you use them. They do not limit your movement or prevent you from attacking with your other hand. Useful for creating some breathing room
Blocking Shields negate all damage when used, but also prevent movement or attacking with your other hand. Full defense, for as long as their durability holds. They're used by holding down the mouse button of the hand they're equipped to.
@Levangeriam Multiplayer implementation has taken us a while, but we're closing in on a playable product. No worries, you haven't missed the testing. ;)
