I still think the best way to curb play/draw disparity is with card design (better 3 cost units, 2 cost units that can pay 1 to do something, comeback mechanics), but this isn't a bad change

Much better than taking away the go 1st draw

The Radiance Standard Challenge side event at #RCStuttgart will be testing a new 'Start of Game' rule where the player going second will draw an additional card after channelling their runes on the first turn.

What do you think about this new 'Start of Game' rule?

@antra16092 @kyreeto_tcg jhin isnt good in morde. he isnt doing what the deck wants to do, which is get overstatted units for lower costs. 4 for 4 is not helpful unless its kaisa

@Ian__Robb @playriftbound @LyricOfWisdom If you like garde, I would suggest trying Kennen . Very tool-box feeling and plays a lot from the discard pile

@kyreeto_tcg darius is good, i just wanted some more 4s, and the deflect at 6 might is a nice statline rn

Here is the list I have been trying with him. It actually feels very strong. You can sometimes just put down some absurd numbers early/mid game and might-bully the opponent out of the game. The sideboard needs work

The more I play with this guy, the more I'm seeing value in him

Most of the time, the threat of playing him is gonna be better than actually playing him. Counters for him are everywhere, and getting hit by star crossed or not so fast or trading with zhonyas is awful

@LotharHS yeah, sac phoenix is strong when it works, but trying to actually resolve the combo is rough. phoenix is ok on its own, but sac just sits in ur hand and does nothing a lot

@ABY_FGC well that depends on matchup and gamestate. shen, vanguard, and forerunner are here for when u want to try walling someone out for a turn or more. i added them in cuz i kept wanting to do that sometimes

@Fluuushh he has a critical weakness to riven, and is rough but not as bad into kennen, so the meta stuff that everybody is playing lol. any deck that cant deal with either yellow or red morde, he will just blow up

Mordekaiser is so fun and so sick, but I'm really surprised with how little he got from Radiance

You would think that more cards from his debut set would go in his deck, but no not really. It's just Trif Captain, maybe Tracker, and his sig spell. That's all he got

@ABY_FGC yeah i think u need to side red morde to switch, but i havent been having any problems at all with kaisa when im running red morde

@ShibaseTTV i think he can get way better with meta shifts or new cards. right now he doesnt really have much that synergizes with his legend besides just "play units with power costs"
