Tbh the fact that the avg game goes 50+ minutes is a huge negative to Riftbound
You can play 2-5 games of any Top 3 TCG and make an equivalent amount of decisions and game actions with Riftbound, you're just hard stuck with the point system
@Skuamato@MillThat typically theres 1 match or so that goes to time each round at our locals too (20ish player locals), but that's about what i'd expect from other games as well, unless some aspect of the format is causing gameplay to be expedited (like aggro-heavy or more deterministic formats)
@MillThat idk man i havent gone to time since start of spiritforged. theres no shot these other games are so much faster, unless theyre just coinflip simulators or everybody is dying turn 3 to prowess again
Itโs probably the Irelia hype driven by Rico. Players are happy to pick up a recent champion deck to prove that they have the same level of skill.
Playing Diana might not be the wisest choice for Day 2, since youโre likely to run into a lot of Irelia.
Aurora is surprisingly underrepresented.
I think this is the deck that actually has a chance to beat both Irelia and Master Yi.
@KeithMoffett1 Totally agree. Really the only comparison is yellow now after unleashed. Other colors need more good cards that still feel on theme to the color. Hopefully that will happen with more sets
Nah, this card is fine. Other colors just need some more draw cards. Orange has like... 1 maybe 2 good draw cards. You have Nidalee, which needs to live and win a combat, and maybe some decks can play Kinkou Initiate or confront. Red basically just has Kai'Sa, but she's great
@rhaenyrabread yeah rn it just has better options than the other colors, except for yellow imo. hopefully other colors get more options as the card pools becomes more saturated. more draw, more removal, more utility
@ketaknightTCG If you can present any data, I would consider changing my view of these matchups. Until then, I will continue believing they are probably about this bad and that this is bad for the game
This is exactly the type of matchup spread that I do not want to see in the game. Near auto-wins or auto-losses, depending on who you happen to sit down against
This is not a matter of "just play gear removal". Clearly, that doesn't work well enough
