One of our Buildathon finalists built an operating system for AI agents. It runs on Casper.

SentinelOS puts twelve AI agents in charge of an on-chain treasury.

A Commander orchestrates the rest, with specialists handling Oracle feeds, Risk, Compliance, Liquidity, Treasury, Analytics and Governance.

They're drawn as a live network you can watch operate.

The dashboard gives you an AI thinking stream showing what each agent is reasoning about, a threat radar, protocol health, and a live feed watching the USDC peg.

There's a button marked "Trigger incident" that sets the whole thing in motion.

It's live on Casper Testnet and it's a Buildathon finalist.

So what does a chain have to get right before something like this can run at all?

1. Twelve agents means constant activity

Reads, checks, proposals, transactions, all day, with nobody clicking anything. On most networks that cost is unpredictable, and a busy day turns a rounding error into a real expense.

On Casper a transfer costs 0.1 CSPR. The protocol sets that price, not the market.

2. Agents can't wait around for confirmations

When one agent acts, the next needs to know it actually happened. Casper settles in seconds and once a block is final it can't be reversed.

3. Guardrails belong in the chain, not the software

Casper unified accounts and contracts in 2.0, so an agent can hold a wallet with real constraints written into it:

- Spending limits
- Scoped permissions
- Time windows

They hold even when the agent doesn't.

4. You can build this in a language you already know

Casper runs on WebAssembly, so there's no proprietary chain language to learn first. If your code compiles to WASM, you can build here.
