An Access to Information request filed by Blacklock’s Reporter (@mindingottawa) has uncovered a federal government strategy for monitoring, organizing, assessing and responding to online "misinformation" — including contemplated legal action against individual Canadians. The 35-page internal Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) document outlines a system for tracking online narratives, assessing individual posts, and escalating responses. It also contemplates legal action against Canadians over social media commentary.

@giveashitnature What about at night? Is the plan to build an additional 450 gigawatt-hours of natural gas generation to cover the shortfall at night or on cloudy days? And then subsidize up to 40 percent of their construction cost. It sounds expensive.
@wealthmoose The reason he is here is to preserve the system he had Trudeau set up. He was worried the Conservatives would win the election and allow the free market to function in Canada. The climate religion is strong in him.
@MarkJCarney Please remind me where Eastern Canada gets it's decarbonized oil from, considering Western Canada is required to produce it but can't ship it east. Two tier environmental policy.
@MarkJCarney It is embarrassing that so many Canadians have been brought to their knees by a decade failed policies. All while borrowing money at unprecedented levels. What happens when the money runs out? A legacy of poverty.
@Tablesalt13 Stop immigration until this is solved. It clearly goes against our best interests and illustrates how immigration limits opportunities for Canadians.
It might be time for Canada to rip off the bandaid and go back to 1988 before free trade. The US trade situation is just constant chaos and we should just establish our own rules to create certainty. Both will suffer but it will have to be done. We will have to go back to making things ourselves and stop importing so much. We have such vast resources and abundant cheap energy. Time to embrace our strengths.
