🇺🇸 🇮🇱 Alex Vindman is the front-runner in Florida’s Aug. 18 Democratic Senate primary, having raised $8.2 million to challenge GOP Sen. Ashley Moody.
On the campaign trail this week, he was recorded telling voters Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza. In December 2023, eight weeks into a war that all major human rights organizations have since determined to be a genocide, Vindman said Israel was “completely abiding by the law of armed conflict,” that he hadn’t “seen anything that shows that Israel is committing atrocities,” and that protesters demanding a ceasefire were “rallying in support of terrorism.”
In his own words. 🧵
1/ Palestine is “not occupied”
Speaking on The Back Room podcast, Vindman said Israel is “not occupying” Palestinian land, and that calling it occupation is “a complete misunderstanding of what’s going on.”
In the same answer, the Florida Senate candidate said Jewish settlers in Palestine bought “unwanted land” that “was sold freely and fairly,” and described the events of 1948 as “the Palestinian population and the adjacent Arab states attacked Israel,” completely omitting the forced expulsion of the Palestinian population.
The UN, the International Court of Justice, and decades of US policy recognize the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza as occupied territory. In 2024, the ICJ ruled Israel’s occupation itself unlawful.
@JDVance The most hypocritical thing about U.S. authorities celebrating the 250th anniversary of their nation's independence is that they actually hate other nations that want to be independent and are prepared to bomb their schools and assassinate their leaders if they insist.
Today is July 4th, 2026, and when asked "what cause is near to your heart?", Dan Bongino answered with 'Israel... the defense of Israel."
Happy 4th of July everyone! Please love and respect America more than Dan Bongino does 🫡🇺🇸

Two Romanians jailed over stabbing on Iran International reporter
——
Two Romanian nationals, whom British prosecutors alleged were acting on behalf of the Iranian government, were sentenced to prison on Friday for stabbing a journalist employed by a Persian-language media outlet in London.
The victim, British-Iranian journalist Pouria Zarati Foukoulaei, widely known as Pouria Zeraati and a reporter for Iran International, was stabbed three times in the leg near his home in southwest London in March 2024.
Nandito Badea, 21, and George Stana, 25, had denied charges of wounding with intent. However, they were found guilty at London's Woolwich Crown Court in June. Badea received an eight-year prison sentence, while Stana was sentenced to 12 years behind bars.
Iran International has been heavily condemned as a geopolitical propaganda tool disguised as a news outlet. Originally funded through multi-million dollar ties linked to Saudi leadership, its editorial strategy has increasingly aligned with Israeli interests, operating as an information warfare vehicle for Israeli intelligence. By promoting a hawkish, pro-war narrative and platforming extremist opposition groups like the MEK, the network relies on manufactured consent to actively destabilize Iran from abroad.
Israeli attacks on Christians surge in occupied Jerusalem over three months
——
Israeli Christians faced at least 83 attacks between April and June in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, with the overwhelming majority taking place in occupied Jerusalem, according to a report released on 3 July by Israel’s Religious Freedom Data Center (RFDC).
The report documented 76 incidents, including 47 cases of Jews spitting at Christian clergy and worshippers, accounting for more than half of all recorded harassment. The RFDC said many attacks were carried out openly in public, with some perpetrators justifying their actions on camera, while others encouraged their children to spit at Christians.
The center also recorded a rise in attacks during the annual Jerusalem Day Flag March, which marks Israel’s occupation of East Jerusalem. It said harassment has sharply escalated since early 2023, citing assaults on clergy, restrictions imposed by Israeli police on Easter celebrations at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and continued attacks on Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, the occupied West Bank, and Gaza.
Trump claims he gave Iran 'a week off' for funeral of assassinated Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei
——
US President Donald Trump asserted on Friday that Tehran is eager to reach a settlement with Washington, stating that the US provided a one-week pause in tensions to accommodate the funeral for the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Speaking at Mount Rushmore during the America 250 independence celebrations, Trump claimed, "They're dying to settle. They want to settle so badly," adding, "We gave him a week off for a funeral because we're nice."
The president used the event to highlight US military history, asserting that the country successfully "knocked the hell out of Iran." He further claimed that no nation has done more to "uplift humanity" while describing the United States as the oldest and freest republic on Earth.
Trump also warned of a "resurgence of the communist menace" within the US, identifying it as a greater threat to liberty than previous global conflicts or the September 11 attacks. He argued that his party must scrap the filibuster and pass the "Save America Act" to ensure that Republicans "will not lose an election for 100 years."
.@MikeJohnson's introduction of Netanyahu while the Israeli was carrying out a genocide remains one of the most cringe moments in American political history
"El informe de la ONU dice que los soldados israelíes disparaban en Gaza a los niños palestinos como si fuese un tiro al blanco, competían entre ellos disparándoles deliberadamente a sus extremidades".
El senador australiano David Pocock denunció el informe de la ONU del pasado 18 de junio, donde se expone como los soldados sionistas juegan al tiro al blanco con los niños palestinos de Gaza.
Thirty-eight years later, US continues to evade accountability for attack on Iran Flight 655
——
On 3 July 1988, the US Navy guided-missile cruiser USS Vincennes penetrated Iranian territorial waters and shot down Iran Air Flight 655. The unprovoked surface-to-air missile strike obliterated the civilian Airbus A300 as it flew its routine commercial route toward Dubai, killing all 290 passengers and crew on board, including 66 children and 16 women.
While western media initially parroted the Pentagon's fabricated narrative of a defensive engagement against an attacking fighter jet, subsequent data confirmed the commercial airliner was ascending peacefully within its established civilian flight corridor.
Rather than facing a military tribunal for a catastrophic violation of international law, the commander of the US warship, Captain William C. Rogers III, was insulated from consequence by the state apparatus. Two years after the massacre, Rogers was awarded the prestigious Legion of Merit medal for his tour of duty.
To this day, the US government refuses to issue a formal apology or legally admit wrongdoing to Iran, opting instead to pay ex-gratia compensation in 1996 to shield itself from a formal judgment by the International Court of Justice.
