Loved my visit to Salem MS today. The students were so engaged & focused in thei classes . Enjoyed the AVID class guest speaker. Found out about the awesome lessons the librarians are planning. Great 6th grd English lesson, Ms. Kimberly Williams. TY for your supportive message

I’m very sorry to say that we are going to have to say goodbye to Nancy on Monday. The vet saw her today and confirmed my fear that her hard swollen stomach is not good news. We have the next few days to give her love and cuddles, she has been the best dog.

And I want to thank all of the VBCPS security staff and SRO's during their recognition week for helping to keep our Schools safe. I was honored to help Dr. Cornick Thank Kempsville MS's SRO during my visit.

Enjoyed my visit this week to my new partner school this year, Kempsville MS. Thanks to Dr. Cornick who tirelessly escorted me around the school, I was fortunate to meet and chat with so many great educators and staff.
