The best thing you can do for your spouse is bring them closer to Allah. Teach them, learn with them, pray with them and for them and watch the blessings flow.

Choose kindness above all else. Kind people use positivity as a beacon to create more light. That’s because they’ve seen what negativity can do. They make time for others in a world that doesn’t wait for anyone. It takes strength to shake off all the bad and move ahead.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Make not your houses as graves (by abstention from reciting Quran in them). Verily, Satan flees from the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.” [Muslim]
Once you’ve built a good relationship with the Almighty, you’ll always be filled with hope and confidence. You’ll always have good thoughts about Him. You’ll begin to realize that He is greater than any situation you will ever encounter.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) never found fault with any food. If he liked it, he would eat; and if he disliked it, he would leave it.

If knowledge is not accompanied by action and worship, it turns from being a bridge leading to the ākhirah to a bridge leading to the dunya. The first to enter both Paradise and Hellfire will be scholars; intentions and actions are what set them apart.
Slowly you prayed on time, slowly you started fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, slowly you started praying tahajjud and dhuha, slowly you guarded your speech, slowly Allah also improved your life. Kun fa ya kun.
