We need investment in community learning hubs rooted in trusted local spaces - so everyone can build skills and confidence close to home.

Education should open doors - not risk homelessness.
People must be able to study or train without losing financial stability. Personal development should be supported, not punished.

Too many young people are expected to thrive without the skills to live independently.
Life skills - budgeting, tenancy rights, navigating services - must be part of education. Skills prevent crisis.

We are delighted to announce Sophie as our Mentor of the Month for April in recognition of the amazing work and commitment that she is investing in the Mentoring Programme 💛
Sophie began her @intademscot Mentoring journey with Right There in 2026. She has been on several meets with mentee M, whose gran has commented on how much M looks forward to their activities together. Sophie has shown great enthusiasm, commitment to Mentoring and we look forward to seeing her relationship with M flourish over the coming months.
M says “Sophie is kind, amazing fun and am so happy she is my mentor. We do lots of fun things together, and I think we have a good connection with each other. She makes me smile 😃”
M’s gran adds “Every time we see Sophie she is always smiling 😊 The stuff she does with M is so good. Seeing M happy is so good to see, it means a lot. She always lets M choose and M is always so excited to tell me what they’ve been up to. So I think Sophie getting ‘Mentor of the month’ has certainly been earned in my opinion 😊"
Thank you, Sophie, for the wonderful difference that you are making in your mentee’s life and the positive memories that you are creating for them! 🎉 🎉 🎉
We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing £30,000 from the @WestonFdn 😄
This generous funding will help us expand our ongoing work with young people and families in Orkney, delivering relational, person-centred support that nurtures young people's wellbeing and enhances wider family dynamics.
We are incredibly grateful to the Garfield Weston Foundation for making this possible 💛
Mental ill‑health shouldn’t stop anyone from getting help.
We need better access to mental health services - including outreach for people without settled homes. Support should meet people where they are.
