@SyndicatedTruck@SpotterBrett@DanielleTrotta It’s not about competing. There is no competition with football it’s more of working together so fans don’t have to choose one or the other all the time. The ability to both exist with no competition is the key. Racing losses to football all day if one has to be chosen.
@SyndicatedTruck@SpotterBrett@DanielleTrotta They had to start from somewhere. How’d they get so big? Idk maybe always cramming there product down your throat. Yes football is a more popular sport than racing but you have so many opportunities to digest football. So you can do the same with racing.
@SpotterBrett Hell even do some 8am or 9am start times on Sunday during nfl season just to wake up to American racing and then you get a day of American football. Start the morning with a Coorslatte
@SpotterBrett I just don’t think Covid races are a far comparison i mean the world was halfway operating at that point. I think it’s fair to give it another try and legit one at that this time round. Doesn’t have to be a bunch do 2 or 3 close to Charlotte cut down logistics for a few weeks.
@SpotterBrett I hear ya agree for the most part but I don’t think it hurts anything to try. nascar already losing butts in seats at most tracks anyway so might as well try to double down on screen eyes. Attendance will lack a tad, you gain Americans that want to watch live sports after work.
Since Denny put this out on his own accord, I can confirm that an offer was made for me to join his team.
At the time of offer (Roughly April 2021), RFR had gone to contract with their offer and it was ready to sign. I was very interested in the opportunity and offered them a quick match to gauge seriousness. Didn’t go any further so here we are…
The story of the deals that didn’t come together could feed families for decades.
I hate “give it to the kid” culture. We were kids once too. Some of us growing up couldn’t go to games and now that we’re adults, we can. Fuck you and that child. If I caught it, I’m keeping it.
