Pan Salish ultranationalist.
I'm from a country you've likely never heard of, that hasn't been on a map for the better part of 200 years.
Return to 1855
Pan indianism, or rather, (the synthetic generic Indigenous identity pushed on natives in Canada) is awful and assimilates away the culture of actual native nations (Including mine). I despise it on principle because I hate people speaking on my behalf without permission.
@RowdyRhodesia@wigger The first exposure to that sort of thing would be the kids seeing a thief getting flogged in the market.
This sort of thing was really common in medieval Europe.
@Devon_Eriksen_@wigger "Muh correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation"
There is a direct correlation between being shot in the head and then being dead the next day.
You can talk about rare examples of people surviving, or grazes, but these things are often linked.
@wigger This is obviously correct. Every single damn example I've seen of dysfunctional families where the children do not obey their parents have parents that enforce nonsensical rules with hypocritical explanations that require force to keep those rules.
@thestarcard100 Suppose that the courts were the opposite and appealed to the worst parts of male nature instead of the worst parts of female nature.
Suppose there was a subculture of 30% of men that thought it was just okay to beat their wives/kids to death. (and you can't tell who is who).
@CharlAikaterine Go tell a Serb, a Greek, an Irishman, and an East Indian, "That was 150 years ago bro calm down, just submit to your betters." They won't be happy with you.
Europeans often care about who was first in a plot of land. But this is a wild generalization, just like your comment.
@sleepy_devo Dev, a core part of your worldview seems to be basically like some Muslim sheikh in the 900s saying "What do you mean Christians can do things competently too? We have more material wealth now, so therefore since we are currently in charge, our faith caused that prosperity"
@Lavader_ The pagans have quite a psycological uphill battle here.
The pagans don't have a continuation of pre-christian national religious traditions, so they are having to at best stitch together random pieces or make stuff up.
However there are a few counter examples like Japan.
@Terrilltf What is the point of this? Genuinely.
Native already know about this. Liberals hate themselves for the sins of the government, and conservatives won't believe it.
@MentisWave A massive portion of the population fail the BQ.
They can't understand the basic math equation and follow on effects of dividing the billions from the billionaires to the millions of people.
To consider sophisticated hypotheticals is so mentally challenging it hurts them.
@revenant_MMXX The Chinese boomers were worse than American boomers.
Chinese Zoomers started NEET maxxing to silently rebel against their society.
It seems many American chuds are doing the same thing by accident.
I believe this is worth consideration.
@ShitpostRock2 The more short cited thinking and cost cutting by incompetent businessmen happens that is a form of self sabotaging stupidity, the more people will convert to communism.
This is the core cause of their support. Not theory or propaganda.
@not__vee Notice how the censors always come after things that are appealing to men.
And yet rightists tend to just go along with feminist puritanism which only censors normal sex appeal and then replaces it with gay stuff. It's crazy how short sighted all this is.
@Terrilltf@hisc_yt You don't seem to want to engage in ideas, and simply want to stop this guy from talking to me.
What a foreign and alien set of ideas you have.
@hisc_yt@Terrilltf That's quite the thing to say. Of course that would be better, but unfortunately the past can't be changed.
If we were Serbs I'm quite sure we'd also wish the Turks never got to Anatolia aswell, but we ain't in that world.
@tsumugi_meow Because the advertising companies in the west had spent 10 years before that trying to make everything look as aesthetically ugly as possible.
The portrayal of any family was unusual. Many people don't have that and want one so it struck a cord.
