“Are you feeling better?”
I don’t know.
Compared to this morning? Yes.
Compared to yesterday? A bit.
Compared to last week? No.
Compared to last month? Worse.
Compared to before I got sick? No way.
With chronic illness, “better” becomes a much harder thing to define.
AO3 needs to do something to allow you to leave kudos every single time you’re reading a fic (doesn’t matter if it’s a one shot fic or multiple chapters) because one kudos isn’t enough sometimes
@DiaryofaSickGrl I'm thinking about getting it again.
Maybe 2 days a week. I forget to eat and I never have time to grocery shop. If I have leftovers I can stretch it out farther.
@dadmann_walking I order online when I can. Walmart and Sam's club have free pick up. Costco has free delivery for whatever membership we have. I was always kind of against it, but it's growing on me.
@iceberge80 Thankfully plucking, cleaning her ear, and putting whatever medicine into it has seemed to help. Thankful that even for yeast, they really looked into it. Even though they are more expensive, they are worth it.
@iceberge80 Antibiotics without bloodwork is kind of weird. They wouldn't even give me antibiotics for 6 month old yeast infection that my dog has. They gave her some in office, but wouldn't send any home and that's after they looked under a microscope.
@Dfrizz007 I think it's a full system attack virus and it's all about your body responds. Lungs, brain, vascular. But the main focus when it first came out was lungs. So now everything about covid is lungs. Like PCOS. It took so long to rename it, all because cysts were found.
@iceberge80 I also have this recipe saved. I haven't tried this one. But, it looks good. I just worry the ACV would upset my acid reflux. I don't do well with a high volume of white vinegar or ACV.

Cleaning the bathroom walls today. *sighs* I hate having textured walls. It's so hard to clean. Looks good though and the dirt is coming off. Time to make some food so I can keep going.
For my final act: If the Carolina Hurricanes win the Stanley Cup, I will get a tattoo of the Stanley Cup. Make me do it @Canes!!!
Shoutout to Cleopatra Ink in Raleigh for the amazing artwork and the friendliness showed. They are huge Caniacs as well and couldn’t wait to do the tattoo for me. https://t.co/CgJJrj7DpL

We are going to start a series showing medical records with false info in them. It happened to me, and it is atrocious what the doctor wrote.
Here is another patient story: "My father was rushed to the hospital via rescue squad for a ruptured appendix and gal stones. After being discharged his wife got a copy of his medical records. In it, it said that he drove there intoxicated on alcohol. He was rushed in via squad and hasn't had a sip of alcohol in 20 years. It was disgusting and defamatory. Thats how they declined him pain management. Write in his record that he was drunk"
@iceberge80 Yeah. Never in my life did I think that would be a thing that would happen. And his nonchalant delivery after I got home was ridiculous. He wasn't injured, so it wasn't an issue. I'm like...dude. text or call mw next time. (Hoping that it never happens again)
