Chaired a Core-Committee Meeting of Unsung Heroes and discussed about the way forward for carrying out research work on Unsung Heroes of Arunachal Pradesh. As we received representations from various communities and organizations for inclusion in the list of freedom fighters and martyrs, the Core Committee in its meeting today have decided to continue the research work on Unsung Heroes for one more year before the final publication of the report. In the meeting, ways to go about the publications of books in the history of Arunachal Pradesh for inclusion in the NCERT syllabus was also discussed.

The meeting was attended by Hon'ble Minister of Education & Cultural Affairs, Shri Taba Tedir, Advisor to HCM, Shri Tai Tagak, Vice-Chancellor, RGU, Prof Saket Khuswaha and Dani Salu, Member Secretary among others.

Upgradation and creation of new administrative centres will further improve people's ease of living in Kra Daadi district as they will have hassle-free acess to official support in taking the benefits of welfare schemes and also resolving their grievances if any.

In a step towards managing solid waste efficiently, in today's Cabinet meeting, we approved three vital byelaws - Arunachal Pradesh Solid Waste (Management & Handling) Byelaws 2023; Plastic Waste Management Byelaws 2023, and Construction & Demolition Waste Management Byelaws 2023.

Reducing, reusing and recycling waste will not only save biodiversity, natural resources and human life but will also reduce cost on disposal of the same.

Teachers are an important stakeholder in making a vibrant, inclusive and progressive society.

Glad to share that in today's Cabinet meeting, we have decided to enhance honorarium and salaries for teachers and language experts including 1043 third language teachers for various tribes.

I strongly feel that our languages are an integral part of our diversity and need to be preserved and promoted at any cost.
