I crossed the Sahara Desert with migrants about a decade ago. Those in the video who crossed into Ceuta from Morocco neither looked like migrants (no luggage) nor did they behave like migrants (went back home with no protest). They looked like a rent-a-mob from Morocco's al-karyan, engineered to cross over and create a diplomatic crisis for Spain? Why? Well, ask the Israeli government, whose Moroccan partner is ever ready to create an embarrassment for the @sanchezcastejon government as a consequence of its position on the genocide of the Palestinians. Remember when the Moroccan King did the same thing in 2021 when the Spanish government arranged for medical care of Brahim Ghali (leader of @Polisario_).

A very dangerous new nightmare we are living in Gaza City, and no one in the world is paying attention to it.

Days ago, the Israeli army installed huge military cranes, each about 30 meters tall, on the eastern areas it controls. These cranes are equipped with machine guns and cameras, and they fire randomly and almost continuously at tents, streets, and exposed neighborhoods.

Gaza City is extremely narrow, only 10 kilometers wide. A single crane at that height is enough to expose the entire city from east to west. Every street, every square, every tent, every house has become completely exposed. There is no place to hide, and not a single moment of safety.

In just the past two days, three people were killed by fire from these cranes. One of them was sitting quietly with his father in a small café, trying to breathe for a few minutes. Hours later, a 5year old girl was killed while playing near her home.

These cranes have turned the entire city into an open field. The latest military technologies are directed at civilians. We have become an open testing ground for their new weapons. The horror is not just in the sound… it is the constant feeling of being an exposed target at all times, where even children cannot run in the street without fear.

Allegations of rape and sexual violence against white women were one of the most commonly cited justifications for lynching Black men in America, though the historical record shows these charges were routinely fabricated or grossly distorted.

Statistics show that about one-fourth of all lynchings from 1880 to 1930 were actually prompted by an accusation of rape. In fact, most victims were political activists, labor organizers, or Black men and women who simply violated white expectations of deference.

White mobs used these allegations to enforce segregation and advance stereotypes of Black men as violent, hypersexual aggressors. The brute caricature of the hypersexual Black male was a myth used to justify the violence, which in turn functioned as a social control mechanism to instill fear in Black communities — sending messages not to register to vote, not to apply for white men’s jobs, not to organize, not to complain publicly.

This caricature gained in popularity whenever Black people pushed for social equality.

Journalist and activist Ida B. Wells was among the first to systematically document and expose this pattern. In 1892, she published Southern Horrors: Lynch Law in All Its Phases, which connected names, dates, and identities to individual cases of lynchings and rape accusations to show that that the rape narrative used to justify lynching was a deliberate fabrication, writing, “nobody in this section of the country believes the old threadbare lie that Negro men rape white women.”

She documented that the true motivation for lynching was the enforcement of racial hierarchy.

No independent international human rights organization has confirmed a single case of rape by Palestinian fighters on October 7.

At conference members condemned the barring and expulsions on the basis of dual membership and then voted 70% for it.

You lot concocting its most exclusionary version shows your contempt for this supermajority.

And your pathetic loopholes cannot hide that.

For those who need reminding what the vote around Dual Membership at our founding conference actually stated:

'Option A — Dual Membership with aligned allied parties

Members shall be permitted to hold membership in other national political parties where they have been approved by the CEC as aligning with the Party’s values, to include those with whom the Party cooperates electorally. The approved list shall be subject to ongoing CEC review and annual ratification by National Conference.'

This is not about individuals feelings or what certain people want others to believe. This is about what the actual wording says. This is about democracy not distortion.

Some individuals, whether through malicious intent or sheer ignorance, need to recognise the damage they are doing by spreading a false narrative around the vote. Dual membership was voted on but it clearly stipulates that the CEC must approve and ratify organisations.

The CEC did exactly that yesterday, agreeing by majority, including my submitted amendment to allow for TUSC to be an approved organisation.

Please don’t allow those who are not fully committed to our Party to cause further unnecessary damage and division. I remain optimistic. This was a crucial step to allow branches to form without further delay or the likelihood of infiltration.
