@keidragons Yeah, especially when the model is not made with stretching in mind. So we gotta add in those extra vertices ourselves. It's a great thing we can use vertex groups to control what does not get changed.
I think I struggle with side profiles of faces with wide eyes. They never look right to me. It's not wide enough, although it can't be as wide as if seen from the front. But when I "fix" it, I make them too wide! So I gotta fix it. xD
So we did some cleaning for Christmas 2018. My folk stored an ass load of mail and around that time they decided to destroy it. There was too much to do it in time so they hid the bags in my room. 2 years later, today I'm gonna FINISH THE JOB.
An alt account to be more presentable. . .
When someone told me that, I almost posted something in the alt account on FA. I couldn't because I realized, I might have make splits all over the web. 2s everywhere! I don't want to do that. So I didn't.
Other: "I like your stuff, but I ignore your stuff entirely for X"
Me: "What if I separate the stuff from X? Like an alt account?"
Other: "I donno."
. . . Just why? x3x
The way Blender changed in 2.8 really frustrates me. You just can't criticize how stupid and counter intuitive the node system is. It could have been used to enhance but no. They gotta trash good UI for this fickle, ever increasing bloated web needing a separate monitor.
@MarbleMac Oh, then I have no idea.
Yeah. The UI looks like it's trying to be on a phone, with those huge buttons you can just press with your finger. But this is paradoxical because A) WHY would anyone 3D model on a phone, and B) WHY the F'ing nodes then!?!?
I always imagine how the characters' bodies would be if they were so large. And then I beef it all up. It always works but lately I seem to have gotten lost somewhere.
Lately I've been struggling with proportions in my characters. I want to focus on certain assets. Like a beefy lion or large werewolf. Big headed, but even bigger body. Makes the head look smaller than it actually is, but if I make the head bigger then the body looks smaller. D:
@MarbleMac It's like this is from the same jackasses in Microsoft who thought making W8 for phones and the XBOX ONE for TV was the way to go. All those responsible for that rightfully lost their jobs!
Also the main background settings are in the node settings.
It's so bad, I HAVE to compile all layers into a single texture for each variant to save myself a headache, even though it causes another one because that takes up more storage. Scratches, dirt, stains, and all. When it could all easily be layered over the base.
