Really hard post this one.
After several weeks of not being able to eat I had a gastroscopy, looking for stomach ulcers, instead they found a tumor in my throat big enough to only let liquid through. Further investigation has found cancer in my liver and lymph. It's incurable.

Palliative is the word here now. Got meeting tomorrow with consultant to see what that looks like, but we're talking weeks I suspect.

Managed to get myself out to an afternoon recital with my partner. It was wonderful, we love live music. I am now exhausted, barely keep my eyes open, but what's the point of extending my life if I don't try to enjoy what I have left and leave dome fresh memories for my partner?
