The future of Marathon ranked should be tied to how many players S3 is able to bring, and if we get enough players, release it mid-season.

In no world should Pinnacle players play against sub-diamond, but sadly it happens because the game needs to find a match, and it's unfair.

Independently of Marathon's future, I’ll always appreciate Bungie for putting out a game with such a unique art style and gameplay.

It’s a shame that the price they have to pay for releasing one of the most unique FPS out there is a successful hate campaign.

@mazokvmo I wouldn't mind if there a solo que ranked with a different set of rewards where it rewards more of how you interact with the sandbox and your knowledge of the game.

But at the end of the say playing solo in almost any FPS ranked mode is terrible.

I don't mind ranked not coming back. On it's current state is neither fun or skill expressive enough, and it's good to know that they are taking time thinking on how to rework it.

Ask any player that has sunk a decent amount of loot and hours into Ranked, they'd say is bad.

Honestly, this is the most cutthroat Marathon's going to be for a while due to dwindling population to its most dedicated soldiers coupled with end-of-season vault wealth and it's also kind of the best time to check out some streams to really find out where you can improve.
