The recent uncalled-for statement by Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga is a clear reflection of his deep-seated superiority and tribal complex, an unfortunate trait seemingly borrowed from his political ally and self-proclaimed tribal king, Wamunyoro.....

If indeed Wamunyoro is not a tribalist, let him publicly condemn Kahiga’s utterances. Failure to do so will only confirm that both are united by shameful, backwards tribal politics...
