dangerous thoughts for fic writers:
“this is a serious fic, i have to do the idea justice” = idea that gets overblown in importance in the writer’s head, psyching them out of writing it
“this is short light fic, i’ll just finish it fast” = fic about to become 40k words long
@iwantcandy2_ I keep forgetting for, like, a month at a time and haven't felt as many feelings in ages as this past week's update instilled in two frames (probably the two your server is screaming about ;w;)
Look the truth is, stories don't need to change the world to have value. They can exist to entertain or make someone feel warm inside or mean a lot to just a few people. Or maybe you're writing that book because YOU want it. You know what? Good. It's valuable.
I saw this image (https://t.co/1lwwSrgSow) and decided to attempt painting it. Probably would have helped if I'd switched out the 1" flat for a smaller brush on the wires...oops. #acrylics
