Excited to share my postdoctoral work @UMontreal published in @Nature . In collaboration with @Lydia_Kisley 's lab @PhysicsCWRU, we show the the role of liquid-liquid phase separation in peroxisomal protein import.

On peroxisomal membrane, the pore through which protein transport is thought to occur remains elusive. Work reported @nature shows that, in fact, liquid-liquid phase separation mediates formation of transient protein transport channels on these organelles.

It is finally out! Our collaborative work with a fantastic group at the University of Arizona, Tucson. So proud to be a co-first author on a PNAS paper!

New drug discovery system allows scientists to target important family of enzymes, called phosphatases, previously considered "undruggable". Scientists at the @MRC_LMB use it to find molecule that could cut Huntington's disease-associated proteins in mice https://t.co/UZWSlJWfxZ
