Later today will be a candle light vigil for my daughter, whose life was tragically ended in a senseless slaughter early Tuesday morning.

As a parent when your time comes your children should be the ones to lay you to rest..

As a parent you should NEVER have to lay your child to rest.

My daughter’s life did not deserve to end.. she was supposed to continue growing.. she deserved endless love, compassion and a life ahead of her worth living.

The dream of walking her down the aisle, holding her children or being able to tell her I love her again.. these will forever remain dreams and in my heart a lifetime of what ifs and constant regret..

Karimar Nicole Rios, my beautiful baby girl… I’m so sorry… I love you forever and forever after.
