@AvaGrace9211@lucyshow11 One of the mothers in our neighborhood was named Ella. She peeked out her windows like Gladys Kravitz. If a kid ever stepped out of line, it was reported by her to their mother. We referred to this as "going out over the Ella-type." (this was the teletype era.)
@madbaldscotsman@UndercoverIndy@YouTube I know, this wasn't exactly a "Where were you when Elvis died" event, but I distinctly remember being in a local pub with a friend enjoying a beer when Eruption played over the house system. Our reaction was the same as you describe. Solidly etched in memory.
@Hot_Pepper76@AlbertEsposit20 The song itself didn't offend me. I didn't particularly care for it since it was a simple composition. What bothered me most was everybody you encountered acted like they were the first person to sing it to you. ๐
@codek_tv Respectfully, your example #4 is incorrectly illustrated. The exterior angle is the sum of the two OPPOSITE interior angles of a triangle. The exterior and the adjacent interior angle must add up to 180.
@CrazyVibes_1 Wow. Fantastic story. Thank you. I remember watching as a kid and thinking even though he was a kiss-up troublemaker, he wasn't a genuine bad guy! Maybe it was the smile and the perfect teeth? The show had great characters and story lines.
@SandyofCthulhu These instructions included in a recently purchased auto battery jump starter and air compressor. Not sure I can use it since I have no "forbidden children."
