For what it's worth, I support capital punishment, and if anyone deserves the death penalty, it is Nidal Hasan. Should have been done years ago. But we have long ago stopped conducting public executions. We have witnesses for executions, for the purpose of making sure the state conducts them responsibly. The recent debacle in Tennessee is a good reason to do that. But it's not a show. So execute Nidal Hasan, with witnesses, but not a streaming audience.
