Today, in the company of Hon. @Bashir_GS, I paid a courtesy visit to Jagora Hon. Mukhtar Baloni @muktarbaloni, Secretary of the Kaduna State Governorship Campaign Council and former Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government, as part of our ongoing consultations following my appointment as the Kaduna State Coordinator of @RiseUpNaija_RUN

Our discussions were insightful, focusing on the task ahead, strategic coordination, and the need to build strong partnerships as we prepare for the 2027 elections.

We also paid a visit to Alhaji Aliyu Bello, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Community Engagement, Northwest, to His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and former PDP Youth Leader in Kaduna State. We exchanged ideas on the political landscape and the importance of grassroots engagement, collaboration, and collective action.

As we build RiseUp Kaduna, these consultations are part of our efforts to engage critical stakeholders, strengthen existing relationships, and mobilise support for a coordinated movement ahead of 2027.

The task ahead requires consultation, collaboration, and collective commitment. RiseUp Kaduna is ready to get to work.

I join family, friends, and well-wishers to congratulate Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide and Senior Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Ota, Ogun State, as he marks his 72nd birthday.

I sincerely honour his legacy as Chancellor of Covenant University and Landmark University, and his far-reaching contributions to education, mentorship, philanthropy, and human development. His dedication to raising people and building institutions is worthy of celebration.

ATIKU APPROVES LEAN, PEOPLE-DRIVEN ADC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL

Former Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the ADC, Atiku Abubakar has approved a campaign structure shaped by the realities Nigerians face every day. When families are struggling with food prices, transport costs and shrinking incomes, a campaign asking for their trust must show discipline in how it operates.

Kashim Ibrahim-Imam will chair the Council, with Nasir El-Rufai as Deputy Chairman. Senator Austin Akobundu will serve as Director-General and Campaign Manager, responsible for turning strategy into coordinated action.

Six Deputy Directors-General will lead the operational directorates, working with 30 Directors assigned specific responsibilities. Dele Momodu will head Media and Communications, while Dino Melaye will lead Contact and Mobilisation.

Mohammed Hayatudeen will chair the Policy Team, working with Professor Mohammed Sagagi and other members, including Professor Kingsley Moghalu, to develop practical answers to the problems Nigerians have put before us. John Oyegun will chair the Campaign Advisory Board.

This is a structure built for work. Every directorate has a duty. Every director has an assignment. Every appointee must account for results.

Our measure of success will be how clearly we address the cost of living, unemployment, insecurity and declining purchasing power—and how effectively we organise to make Nigeria affordable again.
