In Top 5 with a New Game
On May 14, I released a new game on HypeHype called Tower Kings. It’s a king-of-the-hill style game with some extra variety. As of now, the game holds the fifth spot on the platform.*
In just 2.5 weeks and over 20 product iterations, I managed to turn a weak-metric prototype into a fairly successful game.
To speed up iterations, I actively used boosts. I needed speed. The game has now been running for several days without boosts and is still getting solid traffic.

I started rewriting the HypeHype renderer 3 years ago. The first year, I was alone rewriting the RHI and Vulkan/Metal/WebGPU backends. After that, we hired a four-person team. Two years later the visuals finally look good. I don't feel ashamed anymore posting these screenshots :)

@DreamsHor1zon@potato_chan26 Wow that would be cool - not actually sure it’s possible though - I guess you could teleport to watching areas - or even 1 area to watch the finish line 🤔 kinda want people to use the skate park though - make that more fun… interesting though 💯
