This lady came to me needing a headshot as Hodder and Staughton were going to publish her first book and she didn’t have a photo for the inside back cover. She’d never had a professional photoshoot before and of course, like everyone, she was nervous. We discussed her book beforehand and I recommended the location I thought would be fitting for her and her book. We had an hour’s shoot where she soon forgot she was nervous and we got lots of photos she loved. This is the one she chose and now it’s in her book, The Island of the Lost, by Daisy Stephens out in September. I love knowing that thousands of people will buy her book and see my photo. Gives me a warm glow.
