Ms. Gober's homeroom received a surprise package from Ms. Mullins and Ms. Donadeo'sย third grade classes at Peeples Elementary.ย The third graders wrote notes to encourage the eighth graders as they take the Georgia Milestones test this week.
Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade chorus classes. All groups received top ratings at Large Group Performance Evaluation yesterday. Good luck to the 6th grade choruses who will perform this afternoon!
RSMS 8th grade Georgia Studies classes toured FDR's Little Whitehouse in Warm Springs yesterday.ย Their tour included a visit to the nearby pools as well.ย The students had a wonderful time seeing the house, museum, and grounds as well as feeling the 88 degree water.
Congratulations to RSMS Student Alisa Chmielewski! She won first place in the 6th grade poetry recitation at the Griffin RESA Literacy Days Competition!

Matthew Baber, an 8th grader at Rising Starr Middle School won the county level spellingย bee last week.ย He will compete in February at the regional competition!
