This summer, a group of Rising Tide students participated in the Energy Solutions for Climate Change movement through the Jill S. Crafts Summer Scholars Program. Students engaged with experts and conducted field work to understand climate change in our local region.

Civics Night, an annual event hosted by Rising Tide’s grade eleven students, took place this evening. Civics Night highlights the culmination of our students’ months-long research projects in their civics and economics classes about local civic issues.

Today, Rising Tide alumna, Emily Brown, visited our Advanced Biology classes, gave a talk about the PhD research she is conducting, and did a lab demonstration. She is studying blindness in fruit flies and developing a nanoparticle to try to restore vision.
