Even in adversity, there's always hope. Some of the corals in Tav Nursery are still healthy, and we are seeing corals holding strong at Pickles, Elbow, & Carysfort reefs. Our team remains vigilant, but we're encouraged by these signs of resilience.
Swallowtail angelfish (Genicanthus melanospilos) are thriving at @UFIFAS_IRREC, thanks to support from @Quality_Marine. The larval growth of these sparsely studied species is being documented. The fish pictured is a member of IRRECs inaugural cohort.

Facing early signs of heat stress at our Tavernier Coral Tree Nursery, we took action. Yesterday, we rescued various coral genotypes and boulder coral broodstock, now en route to land-based facilities via our Coral Bus. 🌊🐠
