We accept English for modernization; why not accept Hindi as a common link? I believed in unity amidst diversity, but now I question it. Are we truly united? Or is 'Unity in Diversity' just a comforting myth? Let's strive to respect, learn, and truly unite, beyond just words. 5/5
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam teaches us that the whole world is one family, yet we struggle to treat our own nation as a family. Sometimes, I feel that 'Unity in Diversity' is just a myth in India. We are diverse, but not united; divided by language, religion, and caste. (1/5)
Let's learn from each other and grow together. Many think Hindi is the mother tongue of all North Indians, but that's not true—states like Punjab, Bengal and much more have their own languages. Still, people often use Hindi(their 2nd language) as a bridge to connect. (4/5)
We need to understand and respect each other's cultures.North Indians should understand if a state values its language, be polite and respect it. And if that respect isn't reciprocated, that's on them. South Indians should realize that for newcomers, this land is also theirs.3/5
Diversity is beautiful, but hating others because of their origin goes against the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. We have hypocrisy and hatred, but where is the unity? This division allowed British and Mughals to rule over us, and maybe we deserved it. (2/5)
