3. 5x enemy spawns in Asterios sewers will cause unreachable enemies to spawn on the upper half of the area if you trigger an ambush after destroying the artifact.
All these runs were with Galandra if that helps. If the game weren't so fun the softlocks wouldn't hurt so much <3

Love the game but need to report some regular run ruining soft locks
1.) If you have 5x enemy spawn in Jaroba and get to the pre arena hallway where enemies hide behind pillars some enemy gets stuck off screen somewhere causing a soft lock...

This isnt me saying dont make games but saying that you a single individual with a vision you want to bring to life should not make your financial well being dependent on it as that is a bad idea. Make that thing because you love it and maybe if you get lucky it can be a bonus.
Being an indie studio that strictly makes it's own games is unlikely to be a lucrative pursuit. The payout for such a venture on a not mega hit release is maybe just above a single person's yearly salary at any entry level position that requires you to wear dress pants...
This is why you see studios that previously had a mega hit going under. If their product was a unique vision that happened to catch fire at release that is a lucky break, a feast that interrupts the famine. And this stuff takes a lot of time and effort to make between releases...

Pixel art is only fast if you have no standards.
3D is even faster if you have no standards.
As someone adept at both, 3D is way faster and iterations are rarely destructive or multiplicative of your labor.
