Dear Vinesh, It is said that sport is a celebration of human will. I have known that to be true many times in my career but never has it resonated more than today. As I look around me, I see a nation and its people celebrate your unyielding resolve.
You are a fighter – on and off the mat. Through you, we are learning what it means to never lose the fight in us, even as a loss weighs heavily. You embody the true spirit of a warrior.
Not all victories look alike. Some end up as a glittering souvenir in a cabinet but the ones that matter more find their way into the stories we tell our children. And every child in this country will know the champion you are. Every child will grow up wanting to face life with the resilience you have displayed. I thank you for that.
Respect,
Abhinav Bindra

I have heard both #RahulGandhi & #PriyankaGandhi address rallies. They complement one another. They are a formidable team that fearlessly speak truth to power. And tell people what they should know.
#RahulGandhi oration appeals to the mind. He offers doable solutions to gargantuan problems like inflation, rampant unemployment, prevalent un-employability amongst youth, growing divisiveness & hatred in society - exacerbated by Modi gov to divide & rule India. #RG is the only political leader who questions the government on India's loss of territory to China as well as the #Agnipath scheme which is betrayal of youth's trust in India.
#PriyankaGandhi has a natural gift to appeal to people's emotions. She has an unbeatable ability to demolish #Vishwaguru's crass, vulgar & inelegant speeches (don't understand why people consider him & even #Vajpayee great orators. The latter, at best, offered rhetoric clothed in jarring poetry juxtaposed with long weird silences) by her dignified interaction with people - never mind the platform: one-on-one or mass gathering. She has an unmatched ability to bond with rural women.
Time for an India which will care for it's people is round the corner!
I may be repeating myself, but this is what I will do again & again
We are a secular nation & that is how we should remain
It is high time we make peace with Pakistan. They are open to the idea at the highest level of Pak Army.
We need to live as good friends for prosperity of both nations!
Within couple of hours, Rahul Gandhi’s vote appeal video has skyrocketed on the Instagram with almost 3 Million views.
Not to forget the views on twitter and WhatsApp by hundreds of accounts.
People are showing astounding support 🔥

Yet again a journalist has asked me to identify an individual who is the alternative to Mr Modi.
The question is irrelevant in the Parliamentary system. We are not electing an individual (as In a presidential system), but a party, or coalition of parties, that represents a set of principles and convictions that are invaluable to preserve India’s diversity, pluralism and inclusive growth.
The alternative to Mr Modi is a group of experienced, capable and diverse Indian leaders who will be responsive to people’s problems and not driven by individual ego.
Which specific person they will choose to be Prime Minister is a secondary consideration. Protecting our democracy and diversity comes first.
Goodbye to 17th Lok Sabha. This was a Lok Sabha of many dubious firsts:
(i) In terms of the number of workdays, this was least productive Lok Sabha (lowest days worked) since 1952.
(ii) The PM did not answer a single question on the floor of the House.
iii) No Deputy Speaker was appointed for its entirety.
(iv) In the last seven years, not even a single notice by a member of the Opposition has been accepted for discussion (under Rule 267) in Rajya Sabha.
(v)An MP from Treasury was permitted to use communal slurs in the house (vi) First-ever security breach inside Lok Sabha.
(vii) 146 MPs from the Opposition were suspended for demanding a discussion about the breach.
(viii) About 300 questions by Opposition MPs were deleted!
Didn't know this thread and multiple fact checks by my team debunking dangerous Fake News related to Migrant workers from Bihar in Tamil Nadu would be recognised by the govt.
Thank you everyone. I am overwhelmed to receive the 'Kottai Ameer Communal Harmony Award' from the Tamil Nadu Govt. Very happy that our work at @AltNews is recognised, appreciated and celebrated. Congratulations to all my team members and thank you to all the well-wishers for the trust and support. 🙂
Most Indian NEWS ANCHORS were SILENT when 11 convicted men guilty of gang raping a pregnant Muslim in 2002 were freed in 2022 by order of Gujarat's government.
Most Indian NEWS ANCHORS are SILENT AGAIN when the Supreme Court cancels the release of 2002 riots rapists and the state of Gujarat was "not competent" to pass the remission order. #BilkisBanoCase

Modi's supporters are still where they have been for years. Their lives have not changed.
Hope the blind bhakts will think about it.
Modi supporters fight for the luxury life of Modi and his family. That's all.
Their lives won't change at all.
Our founding fathers envisioned India as a welfare state that takes care of its poor, rather than a capitalist nation where the rich get richer and poor and get poorer.

Politics using school going kids to ‘show’ crowd support by Anil Patil in this heat is shameful. We already have witnessed the heatstroke deaths in Navi Mumbai in April. Have some humanity?
