Missionaries did not just bring a religion. They brought a story where Africans start as sinners, outsiders, and latecomers to God. A story where God speaks elsewhere, chooses elsewhere, and only visits Africa through foreigners. This is why African spirituality had to be destroyed first. Once you convince people that their ancestors were foolish, their land cursed, and their memory dangerous, they become easy to rule. Spiritual amnesia prepares political obedience.
You're already doing magick. You just don't know it.
Every prayer. Every repeated thought. Every word you speak about yourself.
It's all the same mechanism—they just taught you to fear it while using it to control you.
I wrote a book explaining how it actually works.

@mrmikeMTL At the point of death, we lose our physical bodies and find ourselves in realms where our consciousness is not restricted by physical matter.
Creation is instantaneous.
All the love (or fear) becomes manifested more dramatically than it was when enclosed in matter.
@mrmikeMTL A loving consciousness usually creates a peaceful and loving environment (aka heaven).
A consciousness that lacks love, usually creates discord, hate, malice, destruction etc (aka hell).
This can all be felt and seen right here while in our physical bodies.
When I speak of LOVE I speak of:
Being able to clearly see and operate from the understanding that we are ALL ONE.
The only difference between good and evil being those that are conscious of this fact, and those that aren't.
"If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge...but do not have LOVE, I am nothing."
Never lose sight of this my friends.
Everything else only matters if done in, and out of, LOVE.
Also, just a reminder:
If you need God and the fear of punishment, or the prospect of a reward for you to be "good", then you really aren't good nor can you be trusted.
Genuine goodness comes from LOVE.

@candle84640 Take a moment to understand what I say.
The verse you quoted is irrelevant to what I'm putting across.
Since you approached it from a Christian perspective, ponder on these:
