Sadly, on 18 April 2023, José Isaías Quiguanás, a Nasa spiritual guide, was murdered. Beyond grief, the damage that this causes to the Nasa community is enormous. We have published a short testimony, translated into English, that explains this.

We had the privilege to participate in a 'tulpa', a community meeting where Nasa indigenous authorities and 'comuneros' meet to discuss themes that affect their everyday life.

Over the next days, we will be posting updates from out fieldwork with the Nasa people of the Resguardo de Huellas Caloto, which took place in February 2023.

These posts are meant to document some of the activities that we carried out with our colleagues and friends in Caloto.
