@narendramodi ji
Namaskar! Given your engagement with Gen Z and their preferred platforms, I hope you understand the difficulties they might face. I appeal to you to refrain from taking severe action against genuine protesters. The police are reportedly creating profiles of protesters who were genuinely present for a cause. This has resulted in these individuals being targeted by goons and anti-social elements.
I acknowledge that investigations are a necessary component of maintaining law and order. However, if these investigations can proceed without compromising the personal information of those involved, it would greatly benefit their privacy and ensure their protection.
Humble request! @PMOIndia
#WATCH || "We should think carefully before saying or doing anything. After that, it's up to people how they choose to interpret it—whether positively or negatively. People should have the resilience to not let criticism or backlash demotivate them," says Shradha Singh, when asked what lesson she has taken from the episode and what she would like to share with fellow Gen Z protesters and her followers.

The former DGP of Delhi Police, Satish Golcha, was abruptly removed and replaced by Anurag Kumar, who was a Spl Director at the IB. These orders came from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Let me highlight that the orders came "abruptly". Then, if a lathicharge was going to happen, the DGP would be updated on that and the Home Minister as well. It is fair to raise questions for answers. It's called dissent, and the BJP should get a taste of it.
Also, I would be ready to take back my words if there is a larger conspiracy behind all this because we never know what the world is cooking against India.
@stopstarekiss It's obviously a fair ask for a trial for Umar Khalid. But I don't think he will be released. You also mustn't include him with the dissent because that would be an insult to the people who are actually dissenting against the government. Do some reading, Kid!
This isn't India's first anti-paper leak law. It's an amendment.
More importantly, where are the measures to prevent leaks before they happen?
Every promise here begins after the paper is compromised. That's governance after failure, not before it.
This is absolutely baseless. An insult to the Prime Minister cannot attract criminal charges unless it is provocative and causes public disorder. Ruchika Singh cannot be held for long under these criminal charges.
Whereas Riddhima Sharma attracts major criminal charges under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1957. She should be kept in jail with a huge fine.
Ruchika Singh is simply being harassed by this temporary police stunt. She should be released quickly if she was arrested for this.
I absolutely agree with you. A pellet gun is not part of many developed countries, and it should not be part of ours either. We are aiming for a Viksit Bharat 2047; then it's time we got rid of the colonial-era laws that instigate excessive use of force against the people of this country. And the pellet gun is one such example that expresses colonial-era dominance laws.
Agree entirely. This should be past debating, but if a debate i called for, I agree with you that the instruments of law enforcement ought to be chosen with far greater care than hitherto. @yashoazad@jomalhotra@tribunnews
@PTI_News@sambitswaraj Alright, only the magistrate gives the order to fire. No magistrate gave the order to fire, but the police did fire.
Whom did you fire? Not suspension!
Whom did you fire? The magistrate can only give the order; it's the executive forces that enforce the orders.
@pbhushan1@YouTube It seems the Home Minister has been heavily influenced by Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike, leading him to appoint a planner who appears to be treating the situation as if there is a terrorist threat involved.
We already watch parliament and alot of its time is wasted under meaningless protests and shouting by both opposition and the govt. Debate less and protest more followed by multiple adjournment.
My parents keep telling me about times when debate used to happen for real and the govt would be shaken by the opposition's arguments. And the govt would also counter them in the best way possible.
